You know what brings the greatest enjoyment in reading Chris Columbo's letters in their original language?
I *finally* have ammunition in arguments about his intentions and "divinity".
"donde yo fallé muy muchas islas pobladas con gente sin número; y d'ellas todas he tomado posesión por Sus Atezas con pregón y vandera real estendida, y no me fué contradicho. Yo entendía harto de otros Indios, que ya tenía tomados, como continuamente esta tierra era isla"
Jerk.
{also, it's all in the vos which is AWESOME}

Martin Luther also was used to accomplish the Lord's purposes. And he was also a "tool." He was kind of a jerk too.
Translation please.
Cristobal Colon (wow that last name really needs an accent) is one of my favorite names to say in spanish--second only to the spanish pronunciation of shakespeare. hehehe. makes me giggle just thinking about it.
