Moving Day Timeline
7:30-Wake up to close all the windows and blinds (yeah, our a/c is pretty awful)
8:57-Jane knocks on my door and asks if we're going to go get our new keys. I make up some excuse about not feeling well and go back to bed.
9:21-I hear Jane puttering around and feel guilty.
9:31-We are en route to the management company for our keys (and half my semester's college tuition for a deposit. Come on now!)
9:48-New keys in hand, a massive chunk of cash poorer, and I am the proud tenant of two apartments...at least until Tuesday at 6 p.m.
10ish-Go through apartment and discover that the girl who lived in the room previously trashed it. Way to be, lady, way to be. Also, use flashlight to discover that neither girls cleaned the bathroom. Sorry, but I don't want to see your used q-tip in my future bathroom drawer.
11ish-Move furniture around. My room is a bit smaller. That sucks.
11ish-ish-Move up some key items.
11:32-Make another video. Upload videos to youtube because blogger fails in the video upload department.
11:49-Hmmm, I'm hungry.

Now, I recognize that not all people who play online games *COUGHWorldofWarcraftCOUGH* get addicted, but a lot of them do. A LOT OF THEM. More than you may realize. One of your best friends? You may not know this, but she had an account for quite some time and spent a good amount of time playing.
To be quite honest, World of Warcraft affected my life...I never expected it to, but it was pretty significant and after a while I really began to resent it. As I said, not everyone will be addicted. Games like this aren't inherently bad. It's just that it is so easy to get sucked into it.
This article makes me feel a heck of a lot better about my stance on this sort of thing (and let's be honest, seeing the term MMORPG in the Ensign is freaking hilarious).
That said, I believe this pertains to all Internet use, and I am guilty of internet addiction. I'm going to formulate a few goals, letting go of some of my addiction in favor of better things.
Like sleep.
And making procrastination movies by myself (oooooh, just you wait and see!).

I just have to pimp this awesome lady out.
For the second post in a row, I'm pimping out a Jen.
Third post, I'll be pimping out the coolest Jen I know...me.
But for now, the second coolest Jen I know (sorry Aniston, you're below Hudson, Garner, and Connelly but somewhere above Lopez and Love Hewitt) is an author. Not a particularly amazing one, but an entertaining one. I hate the way she wraps up her books and they're TOTAL chick lit, but...she has an honesty and a wit that you don't see very often and I find her eternally refreshing.
Although you'll never find a blog roll within mine (sorry, but I prefer to keep my stalking to myself), I've decided to spring for a few links...just some things that keep me interested on the internet. There, you will find her blog/website, and I sincerely hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. Again, she's not going to write the great American novel and she probably won't ever find any sort of philosophical greatness, but that's sort of the point. I don't relate to her on too many levels. I'm not fat, I haven't lost a job, I don't own any Prada, I can't swear in my writing, and I've never been in a sorority. However. She's sarcastic, bold, and an unapologetic republican who throws most traditional grammar out the window, while I'm sarcastic, bold, and an unapologetic nothing who throws most traditional grammar out the window.
Oh.
And she spells Jen the right way (none of this double n nonsense...you're all crazy).

more unnecessary ranting about women vs. men that will bother people
because it's my blog and I'll cry if I want to.
Over at oh no they didn't (I am not responsible for anything you might see over there. user discretion advised), there's yet another stupid tabloid post about Jen Aniston and her poor, sad dating life and how it SUCKS (if I were her, I'd want all tabloid editors to die in a FIRE). First it was Jen vs. Angelina (p.s. Team Angelina/Team Brad's a [Sexy]Douche) and now they're pitting her against someone else for what we would all call normal dating experiences.
They go on and on feeling oh so sorry for this poor 40-something single woman. Poor Jen. How sad it is to be her. She must have such an awful life because she keeps dating all these different (READ: Sexy, gorgeous, rich) men.
And yet.
None of this ever happens to the single men like Clooney or my bb John Mayer who are NOTORIOUS womanizers.
HMMMMMMMMMMMM.
p.s.
As I mentioned above, I'm not a huge Jen fan. BUT.
Jen >>>>>>>>>>>>> Renee Zellweger like WHOA

My friends, you will soon get to see Tom DeLay shake it in a samba on the upcoming season of Dancing with the D-List...I mean Stars.
Yes.
THAT Tom DeLay.
Yes.
THAT Tom DeLay.

success!
After weeks and weeks of monitoring the BYU MAP site, I have FINALLY been able to add every single one of my classes, each section that I need/want. Hallelujah!

I stand corrected.
Never does this look work. Ever.
Until now?
Wow, Rachel...she really is magic.

{for those curious, I'm still coughing so hard that I can't breathe. Either bronchitis, pneumonia, or friggin whooping cough. I wish I were joking.}

must be patient.
I cannot wait for that time when I can go back to posting my favorite one-liners from my favorite songs--you know, the more romantic ones. But I should probably wait until there's someone said one-liners can refer to.
However, I think it's a good sign that I'm even considering the possibility again.

this made me laugh.
A baby doll you can nurse?
Wow.
Umm.
Apparently it comes with a bib with sunflowers and when you put the baby to the sunflower in that general area, it makes, ummm, suckling noises.
SERIOUSLY?
This is hilarious.

it's love, it's not Santa Claus.
Finally got to see this and thankfully it exceeded my expectations completely. My friend Ryan, who knows FAR more about film than I do, went with me (because for some odd reason it's only playing in SLC theaters) and he also really enjoyed it.
It's indie without being pretentious.
Quite simply, it's just true to life.
Run to the Broadway or Jordan Commons and see this movie. You won't regret it.
